A Mermaid and Pirate Party

initially, we were wanting to have separate parties for jax and syd, even though their birthdays are only 9 days apart...but when looking for a place to rent, we found that we would need to combine to cut costs. sydney really wanted a mermaid party, and what goes better with mermaids than pirates?

jessica works in the bakery at sam's and made the cakes for us:

she did an awesome job!

for our little mermaids, there were flower hair clips 

and shiny necklaces...

for the pirates, it was spyglasses and eye patches

we got jaxon started on his smash cake,

and then sang happy birthday to syd

jason and i then tag teamed opening presents.

i hung out with syd

while he helped jax

it was a great time!
