i've created a monster

my son and i shared a bowl of ice cream the other day, and he cried when it was gone.

so did i....inside.

now, before we go any further with this story,

there's something i need to confess...

my son is a trash digger--

and he likes to eat whatever he finds in there.

there, i said it.

don't judge--

you know we've all probably had worse in our mouths and didn't even know it.

i should know--

my husband delivers to restaurants and i hear about the filth in these places.

it's not pretty.

anyway,

he found the ice cream lid

and instead of being a mommy concerned about the germs he was ingesting,

i laughed and grabbed the camera.

it happens.

as you can see, he licked it almost clean.

i think he loves it more than i do--

as i wouldn't go digging in the trash to lick the lid...

he makes me proud...or something.
