garage sale finds!

monday morning, we took a walk.
we turned the corner, and what do you know,
a garage sale!
a wooden high chair caught my eye.
our plastic one takes up too much room...
which is why we never pulled it out of the garage for jax.
she wanted $25, but told me she was getting rid of stuff for cheap on wednesday.

so that's when i went back.

it was still there, and i paid $10.

the "shop chair" jason was interested in was still there, too--

but he's still unsure about it, so if he doesn't hurry up and use it, i will.
it's begging to be redone.
in fact, i already have it done in my mind.
consider yourself warned, jason. ;)

since i was there and all, i figured i might as well look around,
and i found more to catch my eye:

i'll use the 70s picture in my girls' room.
they're stoked.
(so am i).
the smaller frames will most definitely be spray painted.

and finally, i found this huge painting, and knew it belonged in my living room.
i didn't want to ask how much she wanted...but i did anyway.
$5.
you're killin' me, smalls!

a turquoise spray painted frame and some light antique glazing later,

it was a perfect fit.

LOVIE your finds!! If I'm ever, ever blessed with another baby, I am going to have an old wooden high chair too!! What a great price you got it for too! Also, that painting is so very perfect for your living room. Goes awesome with your new pillows!

Love your stuff! I have a similar red stool in my kitchen. Once you have one, you'll never know what you did without it. Tell Jason that I think it would look dorky in the shop. ;) Because I'm sure my opinion matters!
