He got out of their yard, too.
We weren't home, and they didn't want him to get hit, so they called Animal Control. Dozer got to spend the night in a huge kennel with two goats--It's always nice to make new friends. Again, what's to regret?
Stipulations.
There were already three people lined up to adopt him if we didn't claim him.
In order to get him out, we could either:
A) Pay $25,000 (or maybe like $250)
-or-
B) Pay some other way-too-high amount (but not as high as the other amount) and sign a contract agreeing to have him fixed and micro-chipped within 30 days. This way, if he ever got caught out again, all we would pay is a $40 service fee.

I'm just saying.
Anyway, Dozer had his surgery yesterday and now has to stay kenneled for two days while he recovers with the handsome Elizabethan collar around his neck.
Let this be a lesson.
