The Top 10 Things Learned in Our Home
2009 Edition
1. A 5 week old puppy can survive a 14 ft. fall down an old well pipe...without injury.
2. Calls to the Fire Department are free.
3. For us, having a baby at home beats a hospital birth any day.
4. Swimming out to a waterfall just to kiss your spouse is worth it--even when the water
is so cold it's numbing.
5. A hail storm that ruins your roof and totals out your vehicle can actually be a blessing
in disguise.
6. In that same respect, not getting what you thought to be your dream home can make
you realize what you really want, and that it will be worth it to wait.
7. Just because both of your girls are adamant that the youngest swallowed a small spoon doesn’t mean that it happened. It maybe, just maybe, means they are good co-conspirators at avoiding bedtime.
8. A broken dishwasher and a family of 5 is not a good combination.
9. Wicked is the best show we’ve ever seen.
10. Don't drink after a 2 year old. They may or may not drink toilet water...We still aren't sure.
