...everything else goes to (the) pot.
last night, i was in the kitchen fixing some yummy bourbon chicken before zumba. jason was working on his fish tank, the girls were playing, and jaxon was...quiet. every parent knows that's never a good sign, so jason went to check it out...and then he came and told me to check the toilet. i groaned. when i walked in, the toilet was running and full of bath toys. faaaaantastic! if you remember, sydney flushed her underwear down the toilet when she was 2ish, and i think it was around $160 or so to get them out. anyway, i let jason assess the damage--good news! there was no way anything could have been flushed down, because an entire roll of toilet paper and the empty toilet paper rolls from the trash can were blocking the way. lucky for us and our ghetto toilet, because the flush handle was in the toilet, too. life is grand when little ones learn to open doors.

what a turd! Can't wait for this kind of stuff to take place at our home. Oh wait, yes I can. We just had to have our sewer lines worked on last week and it was 125 bucks!

Ohmygoodness! I giggled, too. I can't believe he fit ALL of that in there!! So glad nothing actually went down to clog the lines.

It's nice to have a husband who is willing to do that kind of damage assesment isn't it! Thankfully we haven't had to deal with 'things in the toilet' issues, yet...
Troy was the flushing king. He flushed toothbrushes and we had to remove the toilet to get them out. Also flushed an entire package of 500 Qtips. That created quite a clog! I also remember a few times that our roll of toilet paper had been dunked and then hung back on the dispenser. I always thought the toilet locks were a dumb idea...looking back, that would have save me some work!!
